Yhorm's Greatshield is a soul-transposed greatshield in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Greatshield used long ago by Yhorm the Giant.
Increases the user's poise.
- As a lord, Yhorm risked everything and fought unflinchingly as a one-man vanguard. Following the loss of the one he wished to protect, he forsook his shield.
- Skill: Shield Bash
Without lowering your guard, strike the enemy with the shield to knock them back or stagger them. Works while equipped in either hand.

Obtained by transposing the Soul of Yhorm the Giant with Ludleth of Courland.
Characteristics[]
Yhorm's Greatshield is on the heavier end of greatshields, being in the same weight class as titans like the Moaning Shield and Stone Greatshield.
To back up its heavy weight, Yhorm's Greatshield provides strong all-round defenses and very high stability, allowing it to shrug off most attacks with minimal stamina damage and negligible chip elemental damage. What makes it unique among greatshields, however, is that it increases the player's Poise by 15% while wielded, a trait shared only by the Lothric Knight Long Spear. As such, it pairs well with large Hyper Armor weapons, allowing the wielder to more easily win trades against foes foolish enough to engage.
