- For the Dark Souls variant, see Xanthous Crown.
- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Xanthous Crown (Dark Souls II).
The Xanthous Crown is a head armor piece in Dark Souls III. It is part of the Xanthous Set.
In-Game Description
- Crown supposedly made in imitation of a divine creature of Oolacile, land of ancient, golden sorceries.
- Xanthous clothing is the mark of a researcher of lost sorceries, and the oversized crown is emblematic of their work.
Such a curious pursuit is surely nothing to be ashamed of.
Availability[]
- Dropped by Yellowfinger Heysel after defeating her at either Crucifixion Woods or Farron Keep. She will only drop it once.
- A second crown can be obtained by killing the Man-grub that spawns in Rosaria's Bed Chamber after the first three Lords of Cinder (excluding Ludleth) have been killed.
Notes[]
- One can be traded with Pickle Pee in exchange for a Lightning Gem (only once per playthrough).
Trivia[]
- Differing in appearance from the previous two games, the Xanthous Crown greatly resembles the Monk's Head Collar from Demon's Souls.
