Wood Bolts are an ammunition in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Basic wood bolt.

These bolts do not fly particularly far, nor do they inflict a terrible amount of damage, but their cheap cost makes them useful when volume is required.

Wood Bolts can be purchased from the following merchants for 10 souls each:

• Andre of Astora
• Domhnall of Zena
• Giant Blacksmith
• Undead Female Merchant
• Undead Male Merchant
• Vamos

General information

Wood Bolts are the cheapest, but weakest, ammunition the crossbows can use. Wood Bolts still do substantially more physical damage than most arrows, but (like other bolt types) they face the constraints of the lack of a manual aiming action and short range.
