The Wolf Knight's Greatsword is a soul-transposed greatsword in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Greatsword of a knight tainted by the dark of the Abyss, and master of the wolf's blood of Farron.
- The wolf knight was the first Abyss Watcher, and his sword is more punishing against creations of the abyss.
- Skill: Wolf Sword
While in stance, use normal attack for a low spinning slash, or strong attack to leap forward in a vertically-slashing somersault.
Availability[]
Obtained by transposing the Soul of the Blood of the Wolf and 10,000 souls with Ludleth of Courland.
Characteristics[]
The Wolf Knight's Greatsword is a strong quality greatsword with a versatile moveset. It possesses a wide array of swings that make it adept at fighting crowds and lone foes alike, and has a thrust attack that gives it good reach when wielded in one hand. As well, its skill gives it additional tools to use against enemies, from a crowd-clearing spin slash to a powerful leaping smash. However, it is also the heaviest greatsword in the game, and its overall scaling tends to fall off in the long run.
As implied by its description, the Wolf Knight's Greatsword deals increased damage against foes that originate from the Abyss, such as Darkwraiths.
