Ornifex is a Crow Demonblacksmith residing in an abode at the Brightstone Cove Tseldora. She uses her skills to create all manner of equipment using an ancient technique unique to her people taught to them by Seath the Scaleless. She reserves her art for a select few, but after being freed by the Bearer of the Curse, she will offer her services to repay her debt.
Weaponsmith Ornifex is a Crow Demon and a skilled blacksmith, well versed in the art of forging armaments with souls, an art particular to Ornifex's people. It is said that her people learned this technique from a pale beast that inhabited the land long ago.
Ornifex came to reside in the Brightstone Cove Tseldora, where she set up her workshop. At some point, she was trapped behind a locked door in the Shaded Woods, presumably taken prisoner by the Lion Clan. She was eventually freed by the Bearer of the Curse. In return for this kindness, Ornifex offered them her services as a blacksmith.
Ornifex appears to collect dolls, as her workshop is covered in them.
Upon speaking to Weaponsmith Ornifex in her workshop for the first time, she will let the player buy one boss weapon for no additional souls beyond the required boss soul. All subsequent boss weapons will be at regular price.
"Could you lend me a hand? You can trust me, I assure you."

"Thank you for helping me. I am Ornifex. I owe you some form of thanks, but have nothing for you at the moment. If it would not trouble you, could you visit my abode just down the way?"

Ornifex means "Birdmaker" in Latin, which is fitting as she's a bird-like creature who creates weapons and statues, although the word would actually refer to one who makes birds.
There are dozens of small statues inside her workshop, hinting that she creates more than weapons.
