Availability[]
Sold by the Shrine Handmaid for 600 souls.
Characteristics[]
The Warrior's Round Shield is notable for being the first shield available to the player that has the Weapon Skill ability. It possesses moderate all-round defenses for a Small Shield, but cannot be relied upon for defending the player against repeated attacks. This puts it in the unfortunate position of being a Small Shield that is incapable of performing parries, while also lacking the absorption and stability to keep its wielder alive.
Regardless, it is still the lightest available shield with the Weapon Skill ability, and has higher defensive values than most of its brethren available at this stage of the game. It can be useful for protecting oneself while exploring the High Wall of Lothric, but is of little use beyond that.
Upgrades[]
Reinforced with standard Titanite.
