Vordt's Great Hammer is a soul-transposed Great Hammer in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Great Hammer wielded by Vordt, the outrider knight of the Boreal Valley. Weapon is imbued with frost, and causes frostbite.
Frost accumulated in the body causes frostbite, which saps one's health, lowers absorption, and slows stamina recovery.
Skill: Perseverance
Anchor weapon in earth to temporarily boost poise. Damage reduced while activated.

Availability[]

Obtained by transposing the Soul of Boreal Valley Vordt with Ludleth of Courland.

Characteristics[]

Vordt's Great Hammer has a standard moveset and its damage is fairly average. However, every blow from this hammer inflicts massive Frost build-up, and is capable of inflicting the status on enemies in as little as one or two swings.

Each proc of Frostbite deals a decent portion of an enemy's health in damage. This, combined with the fact that most enemies in the game are vulnerable to Frost, allows Vordt's hammer to remain competitive despite it's low damage.
