The Twinkling Dragon Torso Stone is an item in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Stone imbued with the power of the everlasting dragons, offered to a towering dragon. This stone shows signs of a nascent light.
- Gain the torso of a dragon and roar alongside an archdragon mirage. The transformation is irreversible until death.
- Yet true imitation will require a dragon head, as well.
Availability
Found at the altar erected at the top of the highest cliff in Archdragon Peak. Pray at the dead archdragon by performing the "Path of the Dragon" gesture in front of the altar to receive the item.
Usage
Gain the body of a dragon and roar alongside an archdragon mirage. The transformation is irreversible until death.
Additionally, the player's absorption values for the chest, arms and legs pieces become as follows:
These are compounded with the absorption values of the associated head piece, which is also equipped by default. Physical absorption remains at 0%, and all flat defenses remain penalized for empty armor slots.
Notes
- Obtaining this item adds a new set of dialogue to Andre. Upon talking to him in Firelink Shrine, he will give the player Hawkwood's Swordgrass, along with a message from Hawkwood himself.
- By extension, obtaining this item will move Hawkwood to the Abyss Watchers arena, where he will fight the Ashen One to the death, the winner getting the other's dragon stone.
