The Titanite Catch Pole is a halberd in Dark Souls.
In-Game Description
- Weapon of the titanite demon, a faceless stone monster born from titanite slab. One of the enchanted weapons, perhaps from residual power of the titanite slab. Known for its leaping attack which comes smashing down on foes from above.
Availability[]
2% drop from Titanite Demons that are found throughout Lordran. A respawning one is located at the Lost Izalith shortcut.
Characteristics[]
A majority of the Titanite Catch Pole's damage is magical, though it also dealts Thrust damage which can get Counter Damage bonuses. Though since it deals split damage, its counter damage potential is reduced. The ease of upgrading with Twinkling Titanite makes this Halberd a more attractive option if dropped early, though its damage will be surpassed even factoring in the Intelligence scaling by weapons on the Standard path when buffed, as this weapon cannot be Enchanted.
Like all Halberds, if the Titanite Catch Pole's weak attack doesn't connect with an enemy, the user will stumble and seem to not be able to handle the weight. If the hit connects, the stumble animation does not come into play and the user moves as normal. This means that Titanite Catchpole is capable of gaining the Sweet Spot damage bonus.
Scaling Percentages[]
- Strength - 25%
- Dexterity - 45%
- Intelligence - 40%
- Faith - 0%
