Weapons with very high strength can put an enemy into a state where they cannot perform actions of almost any kind. Weapons like hammers, Great hammers, Large bows, and even Great axes. The Dragonslayer Greatbow, for example, fires off a long range, spear-like arrow that can instantly knock most enemies down, while dealing massive damage. Using Wrath Of The Gods, Force, or the Dragon Torso Stone may also stagger certain enemies. You need very high poise in order to block these hits without being stunned or staggered.
