Spin Slash is a skill in Dark Souls III.

- Slice into foes with a large spinning motion, and follow with strong attack for a spinning vertical-slash.

This variant of Spin Slash is shared by the light curved swords of the Scimitar class.
The wielder begins with a two-handed clockwise spin with the weapon. Inputting a strong attack during or shortly after the spin will transition into a leap that rotates the wielder onto their side, bringing the blade spinning downward onto enemies to the front.
Usage[]
Single Player[]
This skill is useful for inflicting focused strong damage to a single target in front of the player. As light curved swords are generally lacking in striking power, this skill allows the wielder to inflict a burst of powerful damage to bear on a target, inflicting strong stagger and Poise damage on any foes unfortunate enough to be hit by it.
Online[]
No part of this skill can be parried, giving the associated weapons a useful tool to punish parry-happy opponents. The somersault portion of the attack, under unusual circumstances, can also be used to avoid horizontal arcing weapons that swing closer to the ground, turning an otherwise unfortunate trade into an elegant dodging attack.
