The Spell Quartz Ring is a ring in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- A ring bestowed upon students of a certain standard at the Melfian Magic Academy.
Its soul-based quartz increases magic defense.
- Pyromancer Glocken crafts these replicas, much to the dismay of the conservative old-guard faculty.

- Starting equipment for the Explorer class.
- The regular Spell Quartz Ring can be bought from Carhillion of the Fold for 2,000 souls.
- The +1 version is found in Earthen Peak behind an illusory wall covered by a few poison pots.
- The +2 version is found in a chest in the King's Passage after defeating the Looking Glass Knight.
- The +3 version is found on a corpse in Brume Tower, just after the Foyer bonfire. It is in the room with the keyhole for the Scorching Iron Scepter.

Grants a varying amount of defense against Magic attacks, depending on the level of the ring.
