The Soul of a Weary Warrior is a consumable soul item in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Soul found in the corpse of a battle-weary warrior.
- Use to acquire a large amount of souls.
- Let the Fire Keeper transform this sovereignless soul into a source of strength, for to be Unkindled is to be a vessel for souls.
Availability[]
Seventeen can be found in each playthrough. Twelve are found in the base game, one in Ashes of Ariandel and four in The Ringed City.
- Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
- In the plaza at the beginning of Irithyll, there is a corpse on the opposite side of the fountain near the Central Irithyll bonfire holding the item.
- Up the first set of stairs from the bonfire towards the first Pontiff Knights, turn left and double back to enter a small alcove where it can be looted from a corpse hanging from a railing.
- On the path to the main square below the grand cathedral, there is a path to the left that leads to the Church of Yorshka and which loops around to the side of the square. On a broken railing leading towards the shortcut to the cathedral is a corpse hanging off of a ledge overlooking a Fire Witch. The corpse holds the consumable.
- The above Fire Witch is standing watch over a corpse holding another soul consumable.
- On the path towards the grand cathedral from the right, shortly after the house filled with Irithyllian Slaves is a stairway leading directly to the cathedral. The item can be found on a corpse to the left of the stairway.
- Past Pontiff Sulyvahn, at the start of the courtyard with Giant Slaves is a corpse in the open holding the soul item.
- Irithyll Dungeon
- Beyond the initial cell blocks and past the Mimic are a large group of Peasant Hollows. At the end of the hallway they are guarding is a corpse holding the consumable.
- Found on a corpse in the sewer tunnel past the large Giant Slave. Several Hound Rats and a Basilisk trap guard the corpse.
- Consumed King's Garden
- On the beginning path from the Dancer of the Boreal Valley's arena, a corpse before encountering a Consumed King's Knight can be found holding it.
- Grand Archives
- On a corpse on the roofs section, near where a spear-wielding Gargoyle appears.
- Archdragon Peak
- At the very start of the area after arriving from Irithyll Dungeon, there is a tree to the left of the path that leads to the first Man Serpent encounter of the area. The item can be found on a corpse sitting at the tree's base.
- Past the Dragon-kin Mausoleum on the path towards the Great Belfry, it can be found on a corpse hanging from an open window located shortly before reaching the second Ancient Wyvern.
- Painted World of Ariandel
- In the village on the edge of the Snowfield guarded by Millwood Knights, it can be found on a corpse inside the first floor of the tower with the greatbow archers.
- The Dreg Heap
- In the first area where the Murkmen are encountered, there is a corpse hanging from an unstable outcropping. Approaching it will break the outcropping, causing the player and the corpse to fall into the remains of the Grand Archives below. The soul item can be looted from the corpse at the bottom.
- The Ringed City
- In the start of the swamp that comprises the Ringed City Streets, a corpse in the open is guarded by submerged White-faced Locusts. The corpse holes one of the soul consumables.
- A corpse directly underneath the Judicator Giant patrolling the swamp holds the item.
- Near the Ringed Knight sunken chapel is a sunken spire guarded by two White-faced Locusts, it can be found on a corpse hanging off of the spire.
