For the Dark Souls II variant, see Soul of a Lost Undead (Dark Souls II).

The Soul of a Lost Undead is a consumable soul item in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Soul of a lost Undead who has long ago gone Hollow.
Use to acquire souls.
Souls are the source of all life, and whether Undead, or even Hollow, one continues to seek them.

General information[]

Soul items are not lost upon death, so it is useful to keep some in case players lose their bloodstain but need some souls for leveling up or repairs.

Souls of Lost Undead can be fed to Kingseeker Frampt for 500 souls, which is more than they would give if consumed (200), so it's a good idea to save them up until he is encountered.

Locations[]

Souls of a Lost Undead are commonly found off corpses in the Undead Burg and earlier areas, gradually becoming rarer as the game progresses.

Infested Ghouls in Blighttown also drop them semi-commonly.
