In-Game Description

イルシールの法王サリヴァーンは 旧王家の主神を廃聖堂に幽閉し ついには神喰らいに供したという

In-Game Description

It is said that Pontiff Sulyvahn imprisoned the king god of the old royal family in the abandoned cathedral, and finally he offered him to the devourer of gods.

Trivia[]

  • A more accurate translation of "主神" would be "king god/main deity". This confirms the fact that Gwyndolin, the god who is devoured by Aldrich, had effectively become the leader of the gods of ancient Anor Londo and obtained the place at the helm of the Way of White. To do this he would have to overthrow Allfather Lloyd, Gwyn's uncle who had assumed command while Gwyndolin was still considered a "daughter" of Gwyn.
