The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring is a ring in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- An old ring of the Melfian Magic Academy. Depicts a soundly slumbering dragon. Masks the sounds made by its wearer.
- The precise origins of the Magic Academy are hazy, for over its long history, its faculty has been dissolved and reestablished at least a dozen times.
Availability[]
The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring is given by the Rat King as a reward for achieving rank 3 in the Rat King Covenant, which requires 35 Rat Tails from rank 0.
Characteristics[]
The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring masks the wearer's sound from enemies. This includes actions such as backstabbing or hitting weapons against a solid surface. However, its use is rather limited in the natural progression of the campaign as it is only useful for sneaking up on enemies without direct line of sight to you.
