The Sacred Bloom Shield is a Small Shield in Dark Souls III.

Availability[]
Found in Lothric Castle, on a ledge near the Winged Knight Set. The area lies behind an illusory wall located behind the twinaxe-wielding Winged Knight that awaits up the ladder of a small tower shortly after the initial Lothric Castle bonfire.

The Sacred Bloom Shield is a Small Shield that specializes in combating Sorceries.
With moderate all-round resistances, its greatest asset is its extremely high Magic absorption, beating all but the most hardened Greatshields. Besides being a Small Shield that possesses fast parry frames, it also possesses the unique Spell Parry skill, shared only by the Golden Wing Crest Shield, allowing it to deflect incoming magical projectiles with the right timing. Its light weight and minuscule Strength requirements also allow it to be used by almost any build that may wish to equip it.
The Sacred Bloom Shield's greatest weakness is its low stability, making it a poor tool for blocking melee attacks. As well, it consumes twice as much stamina to perform parries as compared to other small shields, and as such this shield is very harsh on the wielder's stamina.
