The Royal Swordsman Set is a medium armor set in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- Armor of a royal swordsman.
Its shape provides defense while allowing great mobility. Stripped of ornamentation, this armor is designed strictly for battle.
- King Vendrick supplied his bravest men with the best armor available to face the great giants, but very few returned alive.

- Dropped by Royal Swordsmen in The Lost Bastille, Sinner's Rise, Shrine of Winter, and Drangleic Castle.
Characteristics[]
A rather simplistic set of armor. A decent set for those who desire great defense at a low weight at the cost of unremarkable poise. It provides decent protection from fire and bleed sources, but offers no curse or petrification resistance. The poison resistance is also rather weak. All in all, a solid choice for mobile, yet tanky characters who have some other means to raise the curse/petrification resistance ratings.
