The Ring of Sacrifice is a ring in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

This mystical ring was created in a sacrificial rite of Velka, the Goddess of Sin.
Its wearer will lose nothing upon death, but the ring itself breaks.
A sacrifice is only worth as much as the life it spares.

The player will lose no souls upon death, but the ring itself will break and be removed from their inventory afterward. If the player dies by being cursed, the ring will fail to activate, causing all the usual effects of death and keeping the ring intact.

  • The Ring of Sacrifice is removed from the player's inventory after being used for revival.
  • The Host of Embers status is lost after revival.
  • Dying as a phantom with the ring equipped will activate it, providing no benefit but still breaking it. As such, one should make sure to swap to other rings whenever summoned.
  • Existing bloodstains will remain intact if the player dies while wearing the Ring of Sacrifice.
