The Red & White Round Shield is a small shield in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Round wooden shield crafted in Lordran featuring an impressive red and white design.

The giant trees in Lordran are distant offspring of the great stone archtrees. This shield inherits their properties, and the wood greatly reduces magic damage.

Availability

The Red & White Round Shield is dropped by Skeletons located in the Firelink Shrine graveyard and The Catacombs.

Characteristics

The Red & White Round Shield shares the same characteristics as the Warrior's Round Shield and the Caduceus Round Shield. It has good magic defense and is quite light. However, because of its 85 physical defense, it's impractical for any situation that does not call for magic defense. It has light deflection and a fast parry animation. When upgraded to crystal the durability is 18.

Resistance defense
