Raime's Set is one of the more balanced heavy armor sets in the game, which is evident by how most of its statistics are relatively high, however, with a few exceptions that make the set a poor choice for most combat situations. It lacks petrification and curse resistances, has low lightning resistance, poise, poison resistance, as well as heavy weight. The set is also fairly costly to obtain, as there are better armor sets that although aren't as well balanced, can defend the wearer from strong attacks much better.
