The Prisoner's Chain is a ring in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Portion of a steel chain used to restrain Gundyr. Gain vigor, endurance, and vitality, but take extra damage.
- A prisoner is one who has staked everything on a belief, a proclivity most apparent in the greatest of champions.
Availability[]
Obtained by transposing the Soul of Champion Gundyr with Ludleth of Courland.
Effect[]
Increases Vigor, Endurance and Vitality by 5 points each, but reduces the wearer's damage absorption by 4% in all categories. The ring merely increases those stats by 5 levels each, and does not actually raise the player's Soul Level itself.
Notes[]
- Prior to the App 1.13 Regulation 1.33 patch, the Prisoner's Chain would reduce absorption by 10%, rather than 4%.
