- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Poison Horn Beetle.
Poisonhorn Bugs are enemies in Dark Souls III.
Description[]
Poisonhorn Bugs are small, purple creatures that have holes spotting their body, from which they emit a noxious poisonous mist. They are a fair bit shorter than the player with a broad width to them.
Location[]
- Many can be found in groups after the Halfway Fortress bonfire, and near the Crucifixion Woods bonfire.
The Dreg Heap (The Ringed City)
Strategy[]
While Poisonhorn Bugs do not have very much health, they are found in groups and can quickly inflict poison on the player. It is best to slaughter their groups before they get the chance to spew their poison mist. If they manage to unleash their poisonous gas, it is recommended to back away from them and wait for the mist to disperse before attacking again. Using a bow or crossbow to take them out from a distance almost completely eliminates the chances of being poisoned.
