Poison Gems are upgrade materials in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- A gem of infused titanite. Discovered in the rotted forest of Farron.
- Used in infusion to create poison weapons.
- Such weapons inflict poison-laced damage that gradually eats away at foes.
Availability[]
- Farron Keep
- Dropped by Ghrus (dagger and spear wielders, and Mad Ghrus).
- Dropped by Rotten Slugs.
- Dropped by Elder Ghrus.
- Found on a corpse guarded by a trio of Elder Ghrus near the Keep Ruins bonfire.
- Profaned Capital
- Found in the big cavern opposite to the ruined chapel in the toxic swamp.
- Painted World of Ariandel
- Found in a Giant Fly nest shortly past the Snowfield bonfire, guarded by a Giant Fly.
Usage[]
Infuses a weapon with Poison, allowing it to inflict the Poison status effect and increasing in effectiveness with the wielder's Luck. Weapons that innately inflict Poison build-up are granted increased build-up and improved Luck scaling.
Greatly reduces Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and Faith scaling, as well as base damage.
Notes[]
- The Farron Coal is required in order to start using Poison Gems for infusion.
