The Parrying Dagger is a dagger in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Dagger with a greatly curved guard.
A dagger made especially for parrying which is usually equipped in one's left hand in place of a shield.
Skill: Parry
Deflect an attack when timed properly and follow up with a critical hit. Works while equipped in either hand.

AvailabilityEdit

Sold by Unbreakable Patches for 2,000 souls.

CharacteristicsEdit

As the name and descriptions suggest, this weapon is used almost exclusively for parrying. It is not recommended to use this a main weapon as its base damage and scaling are incredibly poor, even while having a high critical modifier.

Even then its window for parries are equal to that of a medium shield, requiring you to adjust if you are used to most other parry tools.
