Palestone is an upgrade material in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- An altered state of titanite. Use to on a weapon or shield to undo all imbued powers.
- This does not revert reinforcement, but undoes imbued powers such as magic, fire, poison, etc.
Availability[]
- Dropped by Old Knights.
- One is dropped when Stone Trader Chloanne is killed.
- One is dropped by a Crystal Lizard in the Harvest Valley.
- Two Crystal Lizards in Dragon Aerie will drop one Palestone each, for a total of two.
- Two found behind a statue in Brume Tower, near where Maldron the Assassin invades.
Description[]
This upgrade material will remove an infusion from any weapon. To use it, the player must first give McDuff the Dull Ember and select the "Infuse weapon" option when speaking to him. A Palestone does not need to be used in order to change infusions.

- The cost for removing infusions is of 1,000 souls.
