Availability[]

Characteristics[]

The Painting Guardian's Curved Sword is a low-weight curved sword (the second-lightest in its class, beat only by the Demon's Scar) that uses the "light curved sword" moveset of the Scimitar and requires little stamina to swing. However, it has a reach more akin to that of a dagger than a curved sword. It also possesses high dexterity scaling, despite being a standard Titanite weapon, as well as a respectable amount of Bleed build-up.

What makes the Painting Guardian's Curved Sword unique is its weapon art. Unlike the Spin Slash of other curved swords, the Chained Dance unleashes a combo of several strong slashes with the strong attack, which can be devastating on exposed foes due to the Bleed build-up.

Like other curved swords, its potential is best unlocked by infusing it with a Sharp Gem. At very high levels of Dexterity, a Painting Guardian's Sharp Sword is capable of dealing tremendous amounts of damage, comparable to a Carthus Curved Sword.

Trivia[]

  • When infused, the "Curved" part of the sword's name will be replaced with whatever infusion is applied. For example, a raw infusion will rename it to "Painting Guardian's Raw Sword."
    • Additionally, some infusions, such as lightning, will exclude the "Sword", instead showing up as "Painting Guardian's Lightning", from the name when viewing a reinforced variant through Andre's reinforcement or infusion menu.
