Availability

Purchased from Domhnall of Zena (for 27,000 souls), if the player defeated Dragon Slayer Ornstein second during the Dragon Slayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough boss fight in Anor Londo.

Plot

Worn by Dragon Slayer Ornstein, presumed captain of the Four Knights of Gwyn.

Characteristics

Ornstein's Set boasts excellent lightning, fire and bleed resistances for its weight. It also provides good Poise and is much stronger against slash-type attacks. Even though it cannot be upgraded, its base stats are high enough for it to remain competitive compared to other armor sets of its weight class.

Trivia

• The red plume adorning Ornstein's helmet is noticeably absent from the helmet available to the player after his secondary defeat.
• The player version of the set possesses a slightly higher resistance toward Fire than Lightning. However, Ornstein's lightning resistance is about six times higher than his fire resistance.
