- For the Dark Souls variant, see Leo Ring.
- For the Dark Souls III variant, see Leo Ring (Dark Souls III).
The Old Leo Ring is a ring in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- The beloved ring of a dragon-slaying knight.
Strengthens thrust weapon counter attacks.
- After years of use, the ring's face has worn down, but close inspections reveal an engraved lion.
Location[]
Guaranteed drop from the Old Dragonslayer in Heide's Tower of Flame.
Effect[]
The Old Leo Ring grants a 12.5% increase to a weapon's counter strength.
Notes[]
- Backstabs and ripostes are not counter attacks, thus are not affected by this ring.
- The effect is also applied to bows and crossbows, although it can prove difficult to make reliable use of the ring.
- If a player is dual-wielding, the bonus applies to both weapons. This allows powerstanced spears and lances to deal very high amounts of bonus damage, should the player score a counter attack.
Trivia[]
- The Old Leo Ring is dropped by the Old Dragonslayer in a similar way as the Leo Ring was dropped by Dragon Slayer Ornstein in the first game.
