Necromancers are enemies in Dark Souls II.
Location[]
Necromancers are found in Huntsman's Copse and the Undead Purgatory.
Description[]
Stout in stature, Necromancers are very similar in appearance to the Hollow Mage of Brightstone Cove Tseldora; however, they wear black robes instead of white ones. Similarly to their Dark Souls variant, Necromancers are able to resurrect nearby Skeletons to attack the player. They can also cast two different sorceries at the player.
Strategy[]
Necromancers are fairly fragile in melee combat, meaning that rushing them before they can resurrect their skeleton allies is a useful strategy. However, the Necromancers in the Huntsman's Copse are often placed in dark caverns with fissures preventing a direct sprint towards them, or near Curse Jars, making the task of killing them slightly harder. Once killed, though, the Necromancers do not respawn.
