Necromancers are enemies in Dark Souls.

Necromancers are found in The Catacombs.

Unlike most enemies, Necromancers don't respawn upon death. While they are alive, however, the Skeletons that are near them will be resurrected unless a divine weapon is used against them.

Necromancers are relatively fragile in melee combat, so if they are rushed, they can be killed in a few hits.

Alternatively, some of them can be sniped with a bow (headshots dealing critical damage), rendering his minions easier to deal with. If a Necromancer is in a position where he's hard to snipe, exiting and continuing the game will reset them to their initial position.
