General information[edit | edit source]

Level Up is available as an option while resting at any bonfire after leaving the Northern Undead Asylum.

When leveling up, one spends accumulated souls to invest points into one of eight stats. This can cause a variety of effects, including increasing total health, stamina, damage dealt and the number of spells that can be attuned.

Stats[edit | edit source]

Max soul levels[edit | edit source]

Max soul level is limited by the total sum of stats, which is 792 at maximum.

As the player levels up, the cost for each successive level increases. The cost of attaining a certain level is given by the formulas below (results rounded to the nearest integer).

  • Levels 2-12: Cost = 0.0068 * Level^3 - 0.06 * Level^2 + 17.1 * Level + 639
  • Levels 13-240: Cost = 0.02 * Level^3 + 3.06 * Level^2 + 105.6 * Level - 895
