Availability[]

Fifteen can be found in each playthrough.

  • Farron Keep
    • In the farthest reaches of the swamp, close to the flame patrolled by Elder Ghrus. In the deep waters populated by Basilisks, a corpse can be spotted due to its outstretched hand sticking out of the water. The soul item can be looted from it.
    • In the same area as above, close to where Yellowfinger Heysel invades the player, there is an alcove near the stairs that lead up to the flame from the deep swamp. Another drowned corpse here holds the item.
  • Catacombs of Carthus
    • Amidst the field of bones before the suspension bridge that leads to High Lord Wolnir are two corpses. One of the corpses holds the item.
    • In the path beneath the suspension bridge leading to Smouldering Lake guarded by the Fire Demon and several resurrecting skeletons, one of the corpses on the lowest tier can be looted for the consumable.
  • Irithyll of the Boreal Valley
    • Found on a corpse close to the Central Irithyll bonfire, next to a nearby outer railing.
    • In the courtyard after the initial wave of Pontiff Knights is a fountain patrolled by Irithyllian Slaves and which a Fire Witch will approach towards. Next to the fountain are two corpses, one of which holds the item.
    • Once the main road diverges and a small side path to the left grants access to the Church of Yorshka, there is a corpse propped up against a statue on the left side right before the central plaza with the Fire Witch and Pontiff Knights, which can be looted for the consumable.
    • On a corpse within the dried riverbed past the Church of Yorshka. The corpse resides on one of the islands along the path to the Distant Manor.
    • Beyond the Distant Manor, in an alleyway leading back up to the main Irithyll plaza, there is a tree near which the Londor Pale Shade will invade the player if they are not in good graces with Yuria of Londor. At the base of the tree is a corpse holding the item.
  • Irithyll Dungeon
    • Within the initial cell block, in the wing that contains the Jailbreaker's Key shortcut there is a lone corpse on the lower floor that is guarded by an Infested Corpse. The corpse can be looted for the item.
    • Upon reaching the bottom-most cell block patrolled by multiple Jailers and leading to the Profaned Capital, an elevator can be accessed which grants access to a shortcut back to the initial cell block. Close to the door which can be unlocked to facilitate the shortcut is a corpse holding the consumable.
  • Lothric Castle
    • Upon dropping down into the moat in the Dragon Barracks that is below the perch of the two Lothric Wyverns, a path to the right leads around and back to the bonfire. After dealing with the Hollow Assassins that guard this path, a corpse dangling from the ledge that drops down to the bonfire can be looted for the item.
    • Found on a corpse in the area to the left of the moat path. Prior to crossing the open keep to the powder barrel room, the corpse can be found leaning against a column in the open, near the stairs that lead down to the Boreal Outrider Knight.
    • In the powder barrel room, there is a ladder that leads to the foot of one of the Lothric Wyverns. At the top of the ladder is a corpse dangling over the ledge which can be looted for the soul.
  • Archdragon Peak
    • In the Ancient Wyvern battle arena, on a corpse in the open path beneath the Wyvern's landing zone. It can be found in the area leading towards the building where the first wave of Man Serpents are encountered.
