Firelink Shrine

Undead Settlement

  • Nine are found on a corpse hanging high from the tree where the Evangelist and the peasants are praying. Use a ranged attack to bring the body down.

Catacombs of Carthus

Kukris have a much longer throwing animation than Throwing Knives, however they inflict significantly more damage and can stagger targets upon impact. Kukris also inflict 35 Bleed buildup on targets, making them useful on builds that utilize status effects.

  • Real kukris are not designed for throwing, as they are far too top-heavy to be thrown effectively. Instead, they actually function as a form of survival knife that can be used effectively as both a melee weapon and in place of various other tools, ranging from knives to hatchets.
