Iron Flesh is a pyromancy in Dark Souls III.

In-Game Description

Pyromancy that internalizes flame.
Iron flesh boosts damage absorption and resistance, but significantly increases weight.
Not advisable for walking in marshlands, perhaps resulting in its obsolescence in the Great Swamp.

Availability[]

Found in the poisonous swamp in Farron Keep. From the Farron Keep bonfire, enter the swamp and turn right. The spell can be seen amongst some trees in the middle of the swamp, within the deep water leading to the Basilisks.

Effect[]

Increases physical absorption by 40%, while decreasing Lightning absorption by 60%, and increases all status effect resistances by 45. Also grants the player constant Hyper Armor for the duration of the spell, but in return greatly increases their weight to the point where only slow-walking and fat-rolling are possible.

Cast animation takes 2 seconds to complete, and spell effect is active for 17 seconds. Duration of the buff can be extended via equipping the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring.

Notes[]

  • The Quickstep skill is still possible while under the effects of Iron Flesh.
