Hollow Gems are upgrade materials in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- A gem of infused titanite. A stone plentiful in Londor, land of Hollows.
- Used in infusion to create Hollow weapons.
- Hollow weapons are said to peer into the essence of its wielder, whose luck boosts attack.

- Firelink Shrine
- Road of Sacrifices
- Dropped by Corvian Storytellers.
- Farron Keep
- From the Farron Keep Perimeter bonfire, turn around and walk straight ahead until finding a hole on the wall to the right. Drop through it to find two corpses, one of them holding a Hollow Gem and the other the Atonement miracle.
- Untended Graves
- Dropped by Corvian Storytellers.
- Grand Archives
- On the rooftops section of this level, drop to the balcony where several Corvians are gathered and turn around. Proceed straight to find a corpse holding the gem lying next to a boarded-up door.
- Dropped by the Corvian Storyteller preaching to the group of Corvians as above.
- Painted World of Ariandel
- Found on a corpse outside of Ariandel Chapel, to the right and past where Sir Vilhelm is standing.
- The Ringed City
- Dropped by Undead Clerics.
- Found on a corpse in the Ringed Inner Wall area, shortly before encountering the first Ringed Knight.
Usage[]
Grants Luck scaling to Physical damage. Reduces Strength and Dexterity scaling, as well as base damage, though the scaling is gradually restored with upgrade levels.
Hollow-infused weapons will increase Luck based on the upgrade level of the weapon, if the wielder has at least 15 Hollowing:

Bonus Luck is granted for weapons regardless of which hand they are held in, and can stack with each other even when two-handing one of them. Thus, it is possible to have a total of +10 additional Luck by wielding a +10 Hollow-infused weapon/shield in each hand.

- In order to start using Hollow Gems for infusions, the player is first required to find the Profaned Coal in the Irithyll Dungeon and give it to Blacksmith Andre.
