- For the Dark Souls variant, see Hidden Body.
Hidden Body is a sorcery in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Lost sorcery from Oolacile, land of ancient golden sorceries. Turns body nigh on invisible.
- Although perfect invisibility is unachievable due to the risk of dissipation, the caster need only stand still for a moment to blend in to environs with astounding camouflage.
Availability[]
Sold by Orbeck of Vinheim for 3,000 souls once he has been given the Golden Scroll.
Effect[]
Turns the caster nearly invisible for 15 seconds. This duration can be extended by equipping the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring.
Notes[]
- The player will not be able to see bonfires' flames or items' glow through an invisible body.
- Greatly reduces enemies' detection range. Archers can still spot the player, although at reduced distance.
- Not effective on bosses and a few other enemies.
- Coupled with the Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring, a player can practically run through any area within the game undetected, with the exception of most bosses and very few enemies. This combination also makes it possible to clear out most of an area coupled with a source of poison/toxic and the Pestilent Mist spell.
- Casting this spell again (whilst still transparent) in front of enemies will not turn them aggressive. However, getting too close (about the reach of a dagger weapon) will cause an enemy to notice you and attack. Running a short distance (even when still in their line-of-sight) and casting the spell once more causes them to lose their hostility.
