Havel's Set is a heavy armor set in Dark Souls.

Availability

The set is located in the Anor Londo cathedral interior, past the two Silver Knight Archers. A room near the bonfire will have an empty fireplace serving as an illusory wall, which leads to a basement. The set, along with Dragon Tooth and Havel's Greatshield, is located in a group of four chests. The separate fifth one is a mimic holding an Occult Club.

Plot

Carved from solid rock, it is worn by Havel's soldiers and Havel the Rock himself.

Characteristics

Havel's Set boasts some of the highest elemental resistances and physical defense in the game, as well as the highest Poise in the game. However, it is also the heaviest armor set. Although losing to the Black Iron Set and the Giant Set in terms of physical defense, Havel's Set does not require upgrading. It is also one of only three heavy sets to offer Curse resistance, having more than twice as much as Smough's Set and considerably more than even a fully-upgraded Black Iron Set.
