The Greatshield of Glory is a greatshield in Dark Souls III.

Without lowering your guard, strike the enemy with the shield to knock them back or stagger them. Works while equipped in either hand.

Dropped by a Mimic in the Profaned Capital, in the treasury room to the right of Yhorm the Giant's boss arena.

The Greatshield of Glory is a titan of a greatshield that is renowned for being extremely difficult to penetrate.
Boasting the highest stability in the game, it is capable of shrugging off most attacks with minimal stamina damage. This makes it particularly tough, even among greatshields, as it allows its wielder to absorb numerous consecutive attacks and then be able to retaliate once the opponent has exhausted their stamina. Its elemental resistances are respectable for the most part, being able to block Magic attacks particularly well.
However, the drawback of this greatshield, beyond its massive Strength wielding requirement, is that while equipped it reduces stamina regeneration by 20 points per second, effectively halving it from the default 45 points per second. This can prove to be a fatal flaw should the wielder exhaust their stamina while blocking attacks, as it will take twice as much time to recover stamina, and smart opponents can exploit this weakness by stacking numerous stamina debuffs, such as Impact and Frost, to render the wielder helpless. This means that in order to mitigate this flaw, it may be necessary to commit a ring slot to a Chloranthy Ring and to actively consume Green Blossoms while using this shield.
