Great Lightning Spear (雷の大槍) is a miracle in Dark Souls III.

Availability[]
Obtained as a reward for reaching Rank 2 in the Warrior of Sunlight covenant. To achieve this, the player must offer 30 Sunlight Medals to the Sunlight Altar in Lothric Castle.
Effect[]
Conjures a large spear made of Lightning, then hurls it at the target. The projectile inflicts 1.85 times the Spell Buff of the catalyst as Lightning damage.
When cast at extremely close range, the spear will inflict an additional 1.45 times the Spell Buff of the catalyst as Lightning damage. A successful point-blank cast will also result in vibration feedback through the player's controller, providing confirmation of inflicting additional damage.

The "resplendent tale of father and son that while epic remains tragically untold" mentioned in the description is a reference to The Nameless King's losing his position as Gwyn's heir and his status as a God, thus making him unable to complete the story of the two generations of dragon-hunters.
