- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Great Club (Dark Souls II).
The Great Club is a great hammer in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Wood club fashioned from the branch of a giant tree. Requires considerable strength to wield.
- A hard, durable weapon. Its weight makes it easier to break the guard of shields.
- Skill: Warcry
Let out a spirited war cry that temporarily boosts attack, and enables special consecutive attacks.
Availability[]
Guaranteed drop from the Exile Watchdog who wields it in the Road of Sacrifices.
Characteristics[]
Like previous incarnations, the Great Club is one of the most potent weapons in its class. This is due to several factors: its relatively low weight makes the Great Club significantly lighter than other comparable weapons, and its sheer raw damage and scaling at high upgrade and strength levels, further boosted by the weapon art, grants the Great Club one of the highest damage-to-weight ratios in the game. In comparison, the next available great hammer, the Great Mace, weighs six more units, does only marginally more damage, and lacks the weapon art boost.
