The Golden Wing Crest Shield is a medium shield in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- A blue knight's shield engraved with a golden wing crest.
- This shield is exceptional amongst the enchanted blue shields; not only does it boast high magic absorption, but also enables its wielder to parry spells.

Repel an attack at the right time to follow up with a critical hit. Works while equipped in either hand. Also deflects spells.

Characteristics[]
One of two returning crest shields from Dark Souls II and one of the four enchanted "blue" shields in Dark Souls III, the Golden Wing Crest Shield specializes in blocking Magic damage.
This shield is unique amongst the enchanted blue shields, as it weighs more while also providing stronger all-round elemental defense. It is particularly strong when dealing with mages, as it not only can shrug off any Magic damage aimed at its wielder, but also possesses the Spell Parry ability that allows it to completely neutralize incoming elemental projectiles, whether they be Sorceries, Miracles or Pyromancies.
