General information[edit | edit source]

When used, the player throws the firebomb in the direction they are facing or at the enemy targeted, dealing minor fire damage. The throw distance is very long, but is hindered by the lack of precision at a distance due to the lack of a lock-on option at a distance. Black Firebombs are more powerful versions of firebombs.

Firebombs are one of only a handful of ranged attacks that don't suffer from damage drop-off from long-range throws. This, and the fact that they only explode on contact, makes them very useful for taking out enemies from long range. However, aiming may prove problematic.

Notes[edit | edit source]

The fire damage done by the item makes them a very good choice to use while going through the Undead Burg, Undead Parish and the Depths, as many monsters in these areas have a weakness to fire-based attacks. However, Firebombs quickly become obsolete as weapons and spells are upgraded.
