Fire Whip is a pyromancy in Dark Souls II.
In-Game Description
- An ancient, primal pyromancy. Sweep foes with a whip-like flame.
- One of the original pyromancies. Effective use of it demands agile footwork, making it a difficult spell for most.
Availability[]
- Purchased from Titchy Gren after joining the Brotherhood of Blood
- Rare drop from the Bell Keepers in the Belfry Sol.
General information[]
Fire Whip works similar to its Dark Souls counterpart, although it hits for more frames and is shorter ranged. However, it has much better tracking, staggers most enemies and the character can partially move around during the casting if the locked on target circles the player.
This spell will lock you in place for the duration of its cast, so care and planning should be involved when using this pyromancy. However, this spell not only staggers most enemies for its full duration, it also inflicts a heavy amount of damage.
Attunement milestones[]
