Fall Control is a Sorcery in Dark Souls.

In-Game Description

Sorcery developed by a certain surreptitious sorcerer at Vinheim Dragon School. Reduce damage and noise from fall.
This sorcery, along with Hush, explains the extravagant cost of hiring Vinheim spooks.

Availability[edit | edit source]

Sold by Griggs of Vinheim for 1,500 souls after he is rescued from the lower Undead Burg, provided that the player has 10 Intelligence or higher.

General information[edit | edit source]

Fall Control drastically reduces falling damage and nearly completely eliminates falling noise. It also eliminates falling stun, allowing players to move and attack directly after making a high fall. However, Fall Control will not trigger if players jump off a ledge that would kill upon impact; certain heights will always kill players, regardless of whether or not they have Fall Control. If the sorcery run out of time during a fall, players will not benefit from the damage reduction or falling stun elimination upon reaching the ground.
