- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Benhart's Parma.
The Elkhorn Round Shield is a Small Shield in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Standard round wooden shield. The blue antlers are reminiscent of designs found in Mirrah.
- Wooden shields are light, manageable, and offer relatively high magic absorption.
- Skill: Parry
Repel an attack at the right time to follow up with a critical hit. Works while equipped in either hand.
Availability[]
- Sold by Greirat of the Undead Settlement for 1,500 souls.
- Sold by the Shrine Handmaid for the same price once she is given Greirat's Ashes.
Characteristics[]
Like other Small Shields, the Elkhorn Round Shield is lacking in defensive capability, boasting relatively poor absorption percentages and low stability. However, it makes up for this with faster parry frames. Like other wood-based shields, it has higher absorption against Magic damage than can usually be found on shields.
