Dexterity is a stat in Dark Souls II.

General information[]

Raising one's Dexterity value primarily increases their Dexterity Attack Bonus, the value of which is multiplied by a hidden modifier of a weapon when attacking. Raising Dexterity also boosts the player's HP and Physical Defense stat, as well as one's Poison and Bleed Bonuses slightly.

For the few weapons that do scale, the softcaps for Dexterity are 20/40/50 for the purposes of increasing physical attack. Since a majority of weapons do not scale well, it is not worth it to get to the physical damage scaling softcaps or go beyond the minimum stats to wield in these cases.
