Not to be confused with Desert Sorceress.

Desert Pyromancer Zoey is an enemy in Dark Souls III: The Ringed City.

In-Game Description

Zoey possessed true beauty, as did all the desert pyromancers, but hers did not poison, and so she became the unassuming queen of the feeble ones.[1]

Description[edit | edit source]

Equipment[edit | edit source]

Location[edit | edit source]

The Dreg Heap

Lore[edit | edit source]

A descendant of the sorceresses who resided in Earthen Peak, Zoey now wanders the poisoned swamps.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Zoey is accompanied by two Thralls so it is recommended to eliminate them first or they will mob the player whilst they battle her. She will alternate between rapid strikes with her whip and throwing fireballs, often casting one if the player tries to create distance to heal. She also uses Flame Fan at very close range which will often stagger the player even if blocked, allowing her to continue using flame fan or counterattack.

Zoey can heal with Estus when injured, although her flask has a limited number of uses. Her light attire makes her very agile and she will evade frequently.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • While Zoey uses the standard Fire Orb attack, it is at a much higher damage threshold than most dedicated pyromancer builds can achieve.
  • Can heal herself up via Estus Flask up to two times throughout the fight.
  • Can be killed by either knocking her from cliff (providing she does not land on ash) or by Harald Legion Knight.
