- — Character Creation
The Deprived is one of the classes in Dark Souls 2.
Unlike the other classes, it doesn't start with any weapons or Lifegems and only has the unequipped Imported Set as armor. Make sure to retrieve the Dagger found in the first side path of Things Betwixt as an initial weapon, while the Morning Star in Majula can be wielded two-handed with 2 more Strength and 1 more Dexterity. A Cleric's Sacred Chime can be found near the Morning Star if wanting to use Miracles, a Shield can be gained by either buying one of Maughlin the Armorer in Majula or be found on the path to Heide's Tower of Flame, and a Sorcerer's Staff can be found behind a hidden wall in the Forest of Fallen Giants.
The low level means leveling up is slightly cheaper than for any other class, and the all-6 statline serves as a decent base for a build focused on the Mundane infusion since that scales of the lowest stat.
Its average Adaptability and Attunment means it actually starts with a decent, 8 i-frame roll.
Starting Equipment[]
The Deprived does not have anything equipped upon creation, not even Lifegems. However, as with all starting classes in Dark Souls 2, the Imported Set worn before the character creation can be found unequipped in the character's inventory.
