- For the Dark Souls II variant, see Dead Again.
Dead Again (死者の活性) is a miracle in Dark Souls III.
In-Game Description
- Sacrilegious miracle of the Sable Church of Londor
- Bless corpses, transforming them into traps.
- Londor, the Hollow Realm, is a society of undead, comprised of the corpses and shades of those who led unsavory lives. Is such blessing really something one must ponder?
Availability[]
Sold by Irina of Carim or Karla for 5,000 souls once either of them has been given the Londor Braille Divine Tome.
Effect[]
Upon cast, a droplet of energy is released from the catalyst and lands on the ground. This will bless the three closest corpses to the caster, within a moderate radius. These corpses will explode after a brief delay, inflicting Dark damage to any nearby foes. The explosions can hit multiple foes.
The damage dealt by each explosion is a flat amount determined solely by the caster's Faith. It is not affected by wielding a catalyst that boosts the power of Dark Spells, such as the Sunless Talisman, nor is it affected by spell boosting equipment or Spell Buff (and therefore the upgrade level of the catalyst or increases from Ring of the Sun's First Born or Awakening). However, each explosion's damage output can be increased by secondary pieces of equipment that affect Dark damage, such as the Blindfold Mask, Dark Clutch Ring and Red Tearstone Ring.
The damage for each explosion is expressed as follows:
Faith | Damage |
---|---|
23-29 | 350 |
30-39 | 450 |
40-49 | 550 |
50-59 | 650 |
60-69 | 710 |
70-79 | 770 |
80-99 | 830 |
Notes[]
- The corpse must belong to an enemy that, when alive, would actively attempt to attack the caster. This means that invaders cannot cast this Miracle unless a Seed of a Giant Tree is active.
- The size of the corpse does not affect the radius or damage of its explosion.
- The location of corpses only matters for the caster. Due to the client-side nature of corpse positioning, it is possible for a player to be hit by the explosions of this spell even if there are no visible corpses in that position in their session.
